Our Story
Christ Embassy Pacific is a Church birthed from a vision that was placed in the heart of Pastor Kelepi many years ago. To understand the significance of the this Church is to recognise the journey which brought about its existence.
Pastor Kelepi was born on one of the smallest islands of The Kingdom of Tonga where a person was considered a visionary if they even thought of leaving its shores. And that was the first step on the journey; Pastor Kelepi's father decided that his son would go to school on the mainland, the island of Tongatapu.
The Bible tells us that the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and the more Pastor Kelepi grew in understanding of the Word, the more he moved in the direction God instructed Him to go. Eventually this journey led him to a church in Illinois, USA and it was while serving here that Pastor Kelepi felt a distinct call to move to Sydney, Australia and begin a church.
Christ Embassy Pacific exists with one purpose in mind - to release Christ through life and community. That people would discover the promises God has given to them and discover how He wants to influence the world through them.
Regardless of where a person has come from, what journey their lives have taken up to this point, it really doesn't matter. What matters is that God loved us enough to send His only Son to save us, to lead us out of places that weren't planned for us and take us into a future specifically designed for us.
